Charlie Brandon-King
biography
As a resident at Jamaica Street, Charlie creates, designs and illustrates, fuelled by tea and an innate desire to make something beautiful.
Taking inspiration from the natural world, she works primarily in print, drawing and textiles but always looks to develop skills and learn new techniques in which to convey her ideas and pursue new challenges.
Charlie has created illustrations for the BBC, independent film, private commissions and editorial. She has also illustrated children's books, 'A Cat Called Panda' by Melanie Arora, 'According to Arthur…' by Stuart Cottrell and ‘Discover Our Solar System’ by Colin Stuart
Her print and design work has been exhibited in various Bristol galleries, including the RWA, as well as adorning (but not restricted to…) living room walls, mantelpieces and armchairs.
